Purpose of assignment: This final integrated major project
represents the culmination of studies across the two-year programme of the HND.
The main emphasis of the project will be to complete character hair and makeup
application for a live installation.
The staging of the production affords the student the
opportunity to work in a professional capacity on a live performance with an
audience. The value of this project allows the learner to experience the
pressures, constraints and excitement of working on a production; with an
invited audience able to view a variety of skills.
Scenario: You have been booked to independently create a
production, with the view of exhibiting a range of technical hair, makeup and
costume styling skills.
